The North Myrtle Beach Pickleballers extend an invitation to each of your players to come to the South Carolina beach and play in two of the best tournaments on the Southeast Coast. Borrowing a concept that the City of St. George, Utah and the Huntsman World Senior Games have used very effectively to draw players from distant parts of the country, the next North Myrtle Beach Paddle at the Beach tournament will be held September 28, 29, and 30, 2015. This event precedes the Myrtle Beach Seaside Classic scheduled to be held during the same week on October 2 and 3.

This arrangement allows players to make one trip to the beach, play five days of tournament pickleball in two tournaments. A player’s week of tournament play begins on Monday, September 28 with the Paddle at the Beach, a Men’s and Women’s round robin pool play event, followed by a Men’s and Women’s double elimination tournament on Tuesday, September 29. At the request of players a Mixed double elimination tournament has been added for Wednesday, September 30.
On Thursday, October 1, a player can relax on the beach or play golf on one the area’s great golf courses and then attend the Myrtle Beach Seaside Classic Dinner/Dance that evening. The week of tournament play resumes on Friday, October 2 with the Myrtle Beach Seaside Classic, and ends on Saturday, October 3.

All five days of tournament play are to be held indoors, in air conditioned facilities, greatly reducing the impact of weather. Both tournaments are skill level and aged based.
Register early to take advantage of the registration discounts being offered to guarantee your spot. Registration forms are available on the USAPA website.
